South Carolina Golf Ball

Despite its catchy name, the Golf Ball isn’t a “ball” at all (tuxes and long gowns are pushed to the back of the closet in favor of golf shirts and sundresses) but rather a party featuring silent and live auctions, raffle tables, gourmet hors d’oeuvres and an open bar. This part is always held during the biggest golf week of the year- Masters Week!

Watson Cup

Modeled after the Walker Cup matches that have been contested between amateur golfers from the US and Great Britain and Ireland since 1922, the Watson Cup matches are intended to celebrate the historic connection between South Carolina, where golf was first played in America in the 1740's, and the Edinburgh/East Lothian region of Scotland, from where equipment was first exported to the first American golfers in Charleston in 1739. The matches will also give South Carolina and Scottish juniors the opportunity to participate in the type of international team competitions so revered by amateur and professional golfers in the Walker, Ryder, and Presidents Cups, and to gain experience in the different skills required to play golf on each side of the Atlantic.

Brian Bosco Memorial Tournament

The Brian Bosco Memorial Tournament has allowed the Bosco family the privilege to honor both Brian’s love of life and his love of golf. Can-Am Team Matches

In the 20 plus years, the Can-Am Junior Team Matches have seen over 125 South Carolina junior golfers who had participated in these matches go on to play competitive golf at the collegiate level. The matches have also witnessed a player make five birdies on the front nine and yet make the turn at two down and even seen seven-hole birdie stretches. A select few of these youngsters have followed up their Can-Am competitions with NCAA National Championships a FedEx Cup Title and President's Cup Team Member!
