In 1990 a group of community leaders who loved the game of golf and had a commitment to leaving a legacy for future generations, organized the South Carolina Junior Golf Association. As time passed, there arose a need for a method of funding the association. The South Carolina Junior Golf Foundation satisfied this need and became the basis of financial structure.
The SCJGF has experienced a 200% growth since 2001. In the midst of a suffering economy, SCJGF remains one of the few non-profit organizations that continue to prosper. Our formidable reputation and strong community ties contribute to our continued financial gain. SCJGF is a 501(c) (3), thus all contributions are considered to be tax deductible.
