The South Carolina Junior Golf Association will conduct a free instructional Clubs 4 Kids clinic for juniors ages 17 and under from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Clubs will also be given away to our newest golfers so that they can enjoy the great game of golf. Clubs 4 Kids is the perfect way for a child to be introduced to golf. There will also be 'Learn to Play' clinics at 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. to introduce newcomers to the game.

Golf Headquarters, Par Tee Driving Range and the SCJGA have come together to recognize the importance of Junior Golf. This fun filled, family oriented day will also consist of the Second Annual Long Drive City Championship that will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in various men's and women's age groups. A trophy will be presented to the newly crowned Long Drive City Champion. Golf HQ gift certificates will be awarded to other top finishers as well. Entry fees ($5 for youth and $10 for adults) benefit SC Junior Golf programs which provide youth with multiple opportunities to participate.

Golf Headquarters will also have representatives available to take equipment orders or to accept trade-ins.

Golf sales representatives will be present to custom fit and demonstrate all the newest woods, irons, and hybrids. Companies represented will be Adams, Bobby Jones, Cleveland, Cobra, Great Divider, Mizuno, Nicklaus, Nike, Ping, Srixon, Taylor Made Tiger Shark, Titleist, Tour Edge, U.S. Kids Golf, and Winn and Golf Pride Grips. Bridgestone/Precept, Callaway, Ecco and Ping will have their Tour vans available to build custom golf clubs on the spot. Additionally, Bridgestone will conduct golf ball fitting by appointment. This is the first time ever that a national golf company has brought professional golf ball fitting to our Columbia area.

Golf Headquarters has two stores in Columbia: 189 Harbison Boulevard and Two Notch Road at I-77. They have been in business for seventeen years and have been voted the best golf store in the Columbia area by readers of The State newspaper for those past seventeen years. Par Tee Driving Range is located off of Highway 321 at 3209 Charleston Highway, West Columbia, SC, 29172.
